The Ace of Spades

	This one is a comedy featurette about a young graduate student working on a Master's Degree in Ornithology who goes into the field to shoot a film on the nesting habits of the Texas Mockingbird, but instead winds up filming the aftermath of a murder. He is discovered by his subjects and is relentlessly pursued, but manages to escape and turn the tables on his pursuers in a wild surprise ending. This professionally crafted film has excellent production values but is deliberately riddled with practically every cliche' known to filmdom. It was made as a spoof on the local Dallas film-making community, and they loved it. Choose audiences with care, as the language gets a bit salty in spots! Running Time: 79 min., 16 sec.
